Welcome to GameDay Central, brought to you by our friends at Tracy Zeller Jewelry. The first game of the regular season is upon us! The Mighty Panthers will once again wage war with Henderson County. The Boys in Blue will cross the Mighty Ohio River tomorrow and invade Colonel field at approximately 7 p.m.

Reitz leads the all-time series, six games to four, and is 3-2 at Colonel Stadium. Since the series was renewed in 2009, Reitz has won all three, although last year’s game was a little too close for comfort, as the Colonels’ two-point conversion attempt was stopped just shy of the goal line by Kameron Harris’ “miracle tackle” to preserve a 21-20 Reitz win.

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
