Lewis headed to Henderson County

tonylewis2It’s official. Tony Lewis is now Reitz High School’s former head football coach, as he has accepted the same position with the Henderson County Colonels.

Lewis leaves the Panthers with a 53-11 record in 5 years.

Lewis had previously coached at Wheelersburg (Ohio) High School and has a career record of 100-32.

No word on who will be the Panthers’ new head coach, although the rumor mills are already running wild.

Ironically, Lewis’ first game with the Colonels will be at the Bowl against Reitz for both teams’ season opener on Aug. 23. That could be an interesting game!
