Reitz Players Participate in NFL HSPD Football Camp
Several members of the Reitz football TEAM will be participating in a NFL High School Player Development (HSPD) camp June 5th and 6th at Central High School. This two day event will teach basic and advanced drills used by the University of Miami and will also feature a block of instruction on character development and leadership provided by the National Guard.
As an extension of the HSPD program, an all-star 7 on 7 team of participating schools will be chosen to play in the regional tournament in Indianapolis on June 15, 2013. Winners at the regional tournament in Indianapolis will proceed to play in the National Tournament later this summer. This is the first HSPD camp held in the Evansville area.

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
