Reitz Football Helping to Spread Christmas Cheer

OCC

The Reitz football team will be helping children from around the world enjoy the holiday season by participating in Operation Christmas Child.  Coach Hape  states, “Having our coaches and players get involved with organizations such as Samaritans Purse is something I feel is an important part of being a well-rounded individual.   It is important to get involved in our local community as well as outside our community to really understand how blessed we are.”

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local organizations to deliver the gifts and spread peace and joy to those less fortunate.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE  –  HELP US REACH “R” GOAL OF 250 SHOEBOXES

National collection week begins November 18th-25th.  Shoeboxes will be collected all next week and can be dropped off to the Reitz Athletic Office anytime during the school day.  For more information please contact Coach Hape @ 812-435-8206 or whape@evsc.k12.in.us
