With the first game only a week away, we offer the next installment of “The Top 10 Most Offensive Teams in Reitz Football History!”

Coming in at No. 9 are the 2005 Panthers with an average of 35.46 points scored per game (they scored 461 points in 13 games). Coach John Hart guided them to West Side Nut Club, city, SIAC and sectional titles. Even in defeat, they never scored less than 21 points.

They had four players named to all-state (Ricky Crider, Wade Mayer, Lloyd Pressley and Cody Radford) and finished the regular season ranked fourth in Class 5A, then the state’s largest enrollment classification.
