Reitz at Bosse: #ReitzFootballFriday Week 8 presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry

#RFFThe Panthers are back on the road this Friday as they travel to Owen Stadium at Enlow Field to take on the Bosse Bulldogs.

Bosse (1-6) has had a tough time this season. While starting at 1-1, they’ve been outscored 308-111 this year and every loss has been by double-digits. Bosse is 0-5 in the SIAC and 0-4 in the city.

Reitz (7-0, 5-0, 4-0) has won the past two meetings, but Bosse can be dangerous and would love to upset the Panthers.

Reitz leads the series, 63-26-6. Coach Hape is 15-4 overall and 1-0 against the Bulldogs. Bosse head coach Andre Thomas is 11-28 overall and 1-2 against the Panthers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
