IHSAA announces sectional draw, Reitz will play at Central
The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced the pairings today for the 43rd Annual IHSAA Football State Tournament presented by the Indianapolis Colts.
Reitz, which is assigned to Class 4A Sectional 24, will travel to Central for their first-round game on Oct. 23.
Sectional 24 pairings
First Round (Oct. 23)
G1: Reitz (8-0) at Central (4-4)
G2: Owen Valley (7-1) at Jasper (7-1)
G3: Bosse (2-6) at Boonville (5-3)
G4: Harrison (6-2) at Edgewood (3-5)
Semifinals (Oct. 30)
G5: G1 winner vs. G2 winner
G6: G3 winner vs. G4 winner
Championship Game (Nov. 6)
G7: G5 winner vs. G6 winner

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
