Two Reitz games on Home Team Friday’s fall schedule
Home Team Friday announced its high school football schedule for this fall, which will include two games featuring Reitz.
Local 7 will broadcast eight live games over nine weeks, including the Mighty Panthers’ season opener at Henderson County on Aug. 19 and the Sept. 16 homecoming game against the Harrison Warriors, which are the defending Class 4A Sectional 16 champs.
Aug. 19: Reitz at Henderson County (Ky.)
Aug. 26: Jasper at Southridge
Sept. 2: Owensboro Catholic (Ky.) at South Spencer
Sept. 16: Harrison at Reitz
Sept. 23: Castle at Mater Dei
Sept. 30: Princeton at Boonville
Oct. 14: Southridge at Gibson Southern

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
