Six finalists named for Week 1 Reitz Football Player of the Game

The polls for the first weekly MyPantherTees.com Player of the Game are now online!

The Panthers had an impressive performance during their 42-7 win over Henderson County this past Friday night, and six players have been nominated for Player of the Game.

Jackson Ashby
The senior, who had a catch for six yards, two tackles and a sack, more impressively scored the first safety for Reitz since 2010.

Tamaje Blackwell
The senior had two kickoff returns for 114 yards, including a third-quarter 93-yard touchdown return that answered Henderson County’s only score.

Calvin Brinton
The senior lead the Panthers with six catches for 69 yards, including the Panthers’ first score of the season with 4:21 left in the first quarter. Additionally, he made made two tackles and had a kickoff return for 36 yards.

Isaiah Dunham
The junior wide receiver caught two passes for 52 yards and one touchdown which gave the Panthers a two touchdown lead with 17 seconds left in the first quarter.

Reid Mahan
The senior quarterback completed 12-of-20 passes for 154 yards and the Panthers’ first two touchdown passes of the season, both in Friday night’s first quarter.

Da’Ziaun Sargent
The junior running back lead Reitz with 16 carries for 112 yards, including three touchdowns. He also had one catch for 15 yards.
