Reitz vs. Castle will be the Indiana High School Football Game of the Week
The Reitz at Castle rivalry will be getting even more statewide attention as it has been voted the Indiana High School Football Game of the Week.
Every week, IndianaHSGOTW.com holds an online twitter poll that lets fans across the state pick which game the website will cover. Reitz vs. Castle received 35% of the vote so they’ll be coming to the Reitz Bowl Friday!
Only in it’s first year, the online poll has received a lot of attention already. In addition to the online element, the staff covers the games live, interacting with fans getting video and announcing player of the game. In fact, the account received more 85,000 impressions for each game in its first two weeks.

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
