The Mighty Panthers open city competition this Friday night as they host the Central Bears in Herman Byers Field at Reitz Bowl.
Reitz head coach Andy Hape, now 31-8, is 4-0 against the Bears.
Central (3-0) is coached by Andy Owen, who is 61-41 in his 10th year. Hurt is 2-12 against the Panthers.
Reitz (2-1) leads the series, which started in 1921, 71 games to 30, with four ties.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
