==============================

The two SIAC co-champions will square off once again as Reitz hosts Central this Friday night at the Bowl.

The oldest rivalry in Evansville, these two schools have gotten to know each other pretty well in recent years, too, this being the 14th meeting in the past eight years.

Reitz beat Central, 38-28, on Sept. 9, knocking off the previously undefeated Bears, but the First Avenue school hasn’t lost since and sits at 9-1, the same as the Panthers.

Head coaches
Reitz head coach Andy Hape, now 37-8, is 5-0 against the Bears.

Central is coached by Andy Owen, who is 67-42 in his 10th year. Owen is 2-13 against the Panthers.

Series history
Reitz leads the series, which started in 1921, 72 games to 30, with four ties.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
