Andy Hape

Andy Hape is Reitz Football’s thirteenth and current head coach. He was announced as the Panthers’ new coach on May 6, 2013.

Points of interest

  • All-state linebacker for Reitz in 1993
  • Played in 1994 IFCA All-Star Game
  • Played at Western Kentucky University and earned all-American honors
  • Before taking the helm at Reitz, coached at Lake Wales (Fla.) High School, Webber International University, Earlham College and had most recently been at Franklin College
  • Son of former Reitz Football head coach Bill Hape
  • Member of the Reitz Football Hall of Fame Class of 2008
  • Inducted into the inaugural class of the Greater Evansville Football Hall of Fame on Oct. 9, 2016
