Jackson Ashby and Calvin Brinton were named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association’s Region 9 All-Star team, it was announced by the organization recently.
Ashby, who lead the Panthers with 11 sacks and two safeties, was selected as a defensive end.
Brinton, picked for his contributions at wide receiver, lead the team with 55 catches and 742 yards.
One or both could be selected to play in the group’s annual all-star game, which is usually held in July.
Regardless, both young men will extend their football-playing career. Ashby will play for Marian University while Brinton will go to Hanover College.
