It’s been a fun year so far on the Hill, and we’re just getting started! In addition to the team’s great 3-0 start, the last two weeks have also seen two Panthers have set single-game records (single-game stats go back to 2005 with a couple games in 2012 not yet available).
Dunham sets receiving record
In the Border Bowl win over Owensboro Catholic, Isaiah Dunham set a record for most receiving yards with 195.
The previous record was set on Nov. 20, 2009 by Morgan Jones with 155 receiving yards during the Panthers’ semi-state win over Indianapolis Cathedral.
Sargent sets rushing record
Then, this past Friday during the Panthers’ 44-33 win over Castle, Da’Zaiun Sargent set a rushing record with 324 yards!
The previous record holder was Malik Higgins, who rushed for 320 yards on Sept. 26, 2014 during the Panthers’ 42-16 win over Memorial.
Of course, none of these are ever possible without a team effort, and there’s been no lack of that so far this season.
