Panthers draw Harrison in first round of sectionals

The Indiana High School Athletic Association conducted the random draw for the 48th annual football state tournament series this evening.

Reitz, part of Class 4A Sectional 24, will be at Romain Stadium for a first round match-up against Harrison.

Sectional 24 (7 teams)
First Round
G1: Central (7-0) at Jasper (5-2)
G2: Reitz (2-5) at Harrison (0-7)
G3: Northview (5-2) at Memorial (4-3)
Semifinals
G4: Boonville (4-2) at G1 Winner
G5: G2 winner vs. G3 winner
Championship
G6: G4 winner vs. G5 winner

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
