Week 3 recap: Reitz 41, Jasper 14 (PantherPlus)
After squeaking past Vincennes last week, 31-28, the unbeaten Panthers will get another test this Friday night when they host Jasper at the Bowl.
The Wildcats (1-1) haven’t lost to Reitz since rejoining the SIAC. Among the Panthers’ current opponents, this is the only series that Reitz doesn’t lead (it’s tied, 6-6).
Always an interesting storyline is former Panther coach Tony Lewis, now at the helm for Jasper, returning to the Bowl. Lewis was head coach for Reitz from 2008 to 2012 and guided the Panthers to their 2009 state championship.
