RECAP: Reitz 14, Mater Dei 7 (PantherPlus)
The Panthers have dominated the SIAC thus far, securing their first outright league title since 2010 while outscoring their opponents almost 3-to-1 with 302 points scored while only allowing 105.
Mater Dei isn’t far behind with a 6-2 record, having outscored their opponents 206-99. The Wildcats lost to Vincennes Lincoln and Memorial (which Reitz beat), but, as all West Siders know, you can throw records out the window win it comes to this rivalry.
While the SIAC has been clinched by the Panthers, the boys in blue are hoping to regain the coveted West Side Nut Club Trophy. Meanwhile, Mater Dei is looking to extend their win streak over Reitz and earn a share of the city championship.
