    Reitz and Owensboro Catholic will play in the second game of Friday night’s Independence Bank Border Bowl. It will be their first meeting since 1957.

    This will be the opener for the Aces. Owensboro Catholic is coming off a 9-5 season last year that was capped with a run to the KHSAA state semifinals.

    The Panthers lead the series four games to none. This will be the first time the two schools have played since 1957.
