Mike Dassel is a member of the Reitz Football Hall of Fame Class of 2008 and was an all-state kicker for Reitz in 1975 & 1976. He played in the 1977 IFCA All-Star Game and also played at Georgia Tech.
He was also inducted into the Greater Evansville Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
