Reitz at Seymour: #ReitzFootballFriday Week 10 presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry

#RFFIt’s the second season and the Mighty Panthers are looking to bounce back following the heart-stopping battle at the Bowl. Reitz will travel to Seymour this Friday for a Class 4A Sectional 24 first round game.

The Owls (2-7) are coming off a 56-28 loss to Madison, but had won two in a row going into the game.

The Panthers lead the series, 2-0, winning in 1992 and 2009. Coach Hape is 16-5 overall while Seymour head coach, Josh Shattuck, is 2-17 overall. This will be each coach’s first meeting against the other school.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Central.

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
