Bishop Dullaghan Middle School Camps are for Junior High age players in all football
positions entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2017. It is our 19th year of
running these camps for the purpose of getting these young players “Jacked Up”
about playing the greatest game on the planet.
We drill techniques and fundamentals for every position and the coach to player ratio
never exceeds 10 to 1. We guarantee that the camper will return home better
prepared and more confident in his ability to play both of his positions chosen at our
In 2016 there were over 650 total campers attending the 5 sessions on the college
campuses of: University of Indianapolis, Depauw, Millikin, & Taylor University as well
as Bishop Chatard High School.
Due to feedback received from players, parents and high school coaches, in 2017 we
are expanding our Commuter Camp options with 3 commuter camps with one each in
Evansville, Merrillville, & Indianapolis. All players bring their own helmets and
shoulder pads (players from Michigan and Ohio are not required to wear shoulder
pads but we do ask that they bring helmets) and there is some upper body contact in
drills. We are a working camp and this 3 day, 9 practice opportunity camp is
a very inspiring and fun filled learning experience.
Players are size, age and ability grouped and taking players to the ground in contact
drills is not allowed. Players are grouped by position and each player selects both an
offensive and a defensive position.
The coaching staffs are composed of College and High School coaches and College
players who were former Bishop Dullaghan camp attendees. All of the techniques
taught and many drills used at our camps are available on professionally, produced
Flash Drive’s for purchase in the Locker Room Store on our website. It is highly
recommended campers review these techniques and drills before and after
camp. We believe this will optimize the learning experience for each position.
