Maynard, Word selected to IFCA all-state team
Logan Maynard and Andrew Word will forever have their name enshrined as all-state players.
The Indiana Football Coaches Association, which recently announced their all-state team, selected Maynard as an offensive lineman and Word as a defensive back on the group’s Class 4A senior team.
Maynard was also a member of last year’s junior all-state team.
The Associated Press will announce their all-state team later this month.
Congratulations to these outstanding young men and all the Mighty Panthers who brought out the best in them!

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.

Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
