As you have probably heard, the Reitz Weight Room is getting a long overdue renovation. It’s really going to be something special when it’s done.
However, someone has made a mistake that’s got a lot of the Reitz Nation in an uproar.
During the renovation, the words “Reitz Memorial Weight Room” were painted onto the wall.
I asked Coach Hape how this could have happened. He said he thinks it was done by a contractor who isn’t from this area.
“He didn’t know there was a difference,” Hape added. “It should obviously have said “F.J. Reitz Weight Room.”
Fortunately, a simple can of paint should fix the problem.
