Week 3: Reitz at Castle presented by 125 Years of Southwestern Indiana High School Football

Castle 22, Reitz 14 (PantherPlus members)

The Mighty Panthers will open SIAC action this Friday night as they travel to Paradise for their annual collision with Castle.

Both schools are 1-1 after dropping their first game and then winning last week. Reitz beat Clarksville Northeast (Tenn.) 45-24, while Castle defeated New Albany, 43-6.

While the Mighty Panthers scored their 700th win in school history last year, the Knights will be going for their own milestone. Doug Hurt will be shooting for his 100th coaching victory, and you know the Warrick County boys would love to give that win to their coach against Reitz on their own home turf.

It will be the conference opener for both teams.
