Panthers randomly draw Central once again
The Indiana High School Athletic Association conducted the random draw for the 47th annual football state tournament series yesterday.
Reitz, part of Class 4A Sectional 24, will be at Central Stadium for a first round match-up against the Bears.
Sectional 24 (7 teams)
First Round
G1: Boonville (4-4) at Harrison (0-8)
G2: Reitz (3-5) at Central (6-2)
G3: Northview (6-2) at Jasper (4-3)
Semifinals
G4: Memorial (7-1) at G1 Winner
G5: G2 winner vs. G3 winner
Championship
G6: G4 winner vs. G5 winner

Dan Engler's love for Reitz Football goes back a long time. Engler played for the Panthers all four years of high school and graduated in 1996.
That summer, as the popularity of the Internet began to explode, Engler's search for Reitz Football information came up empty, so his father suggested he create a website. Engler taught himself HTML and launched the Unofficial Reitz High School Football Home Page that August.
Since then, Engler, through ReitzFootball.com, has spent the past 25 years chronicling the rich history and tradition of Reitz High School Football.
Engler and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Logan and Micah, and a daughter, Juliette. Engler has traveled all over the world but is proud to call Evansville his home.
