With the Wildcats’ 20-13 win over North, Jasper clinched their first SIAC title since 1979. It’s also coach Tony Lewis‘ first SIAC championship since 2010.
Memorial still has a shot at the title, but they’d first have to get through a tough Castle team and pray for a Vincennes Lincoln upset over Jasper. Anything is possible, but with the Alices having won only one game all year, it looks like Jasper has the outright title in the bag.
Memorial, which beat Vincennes, 38-0, had already clinched the outright city title last week.
