2024 City & SIAC standings through Week 7

The Panthers’ hope of retaining their SIAC and city crowns were erased this past Friday following a 47-7 loss to Memorial. It was our second worst loss to the Tigers in series history (the worst was a 45-0 loss on Oct. 30, 1937) and the 300th loss in Reitz Football history.

Memorial used the win to clinch an undisputed city title and at least share of the SIAC crown.

The Panthers are still mathematically eligible for the SIAC crown, but Memorial would have to lose to Vincennes and Castle and the Knights would also have to also lose to Central. Not impossible but also not likely at this point. This scenario would also need Reitz to defeat Mater Dei next week and stop an upset-minded Bosse tomorrow night, as the Bulldogs would love to gut-punch the Panthers following two consecutive losses.
